Shrimad Bhagavatham ‘Scripture is incapable of translation’
‘Scripture is incapable of translation’ said Sir Henry Newman in his ‘Idea of a University’. So is this amazing commentary in Malayalam. It talks of four kinds of devotion to the Lord, the first looking for security from want or … Continue reading

IIT Madras soon to have a Sanskrit Chair to explore science and technology in the vedas
Excellent initiative. However, have genuine doubts if it will be allowed to succeed by the pseudo-seculars The politicians In Tamil Nadu, the Commies, Casteist’s, pseudo-seculars and idling ‘activists’ will campaign against it. The media will highlight support. Politicians from opposition … Continue reading

Bhishma and Sri Krishna
Bhishma and Sri Krishna are much alike, share the same outlook on life, environs, societal relationships, at the same time focussed on themselves ‘in the real sense’. Bhishma was totally confident of who he was, his mission, just like Sri … Continue reading

Delightful Karadaiyan Nombu
Must take the opportunity to re-state the rationale of the ‘Nombu’ ritual, as understood by me. ‘Brahman’ (Absolute Reality) for no known reason desired to create the ‘phenomenal Universe’, it meditated, the outcome was ‘heat energy’, which in turn created … Continue reading

Endless Cycle of Birth, Death & Re-Birth
When a salt-doll jumps into the sea, what happens to it? Same fate awaits when a soul merges in Brahman, it no more has identity other than Brahman. On an international flight or passenger-ship, there are several hundred passengers bound … Continue reading

Ayodhya Dispute – For Muslims, it is ‘heads I win, tails you lose’.
The Supreme Court has now hinted that it will uphold the Allahabad High Court verdict in favour of the temple, if the parties cannot agree mutually on a fair settlement. For the Muslims, it is ‘heads I win, tails you lose’. The Mullahs and clerics do not want to take the blame on themselves, so they ask for a court verdict which, if unfavourable, would not stick to them. Continue reading

Is our Universe fake?
I am trying to crack the code, along with all of you. The questions is: Is the Sun there, therefore, we see it? or We see the Sun, therefore, it is (must be) there? If it is the former, then hypothetically, we … Continue reading
